Organic Aromatherapy
Genuine essential oils are distinguished by a remarkable diversity of complex substances - each with their own specific activity.
It is important to use only pure, undiluted, unadulterated, preferably organic essential oils, to receive the true aromatherapy benefits.
True aromatherapy comes from natural sources only. Synthetically fragranced room fresheners, or those that contain a little essential oil but mostly synthetic fragrance, are not always safe for you or the environment. When used correctly, pure essential oils are safe, natural and proven by aromatherapists to have beneficial effects on the body, mind and spirit.
Care of your Aromatherapy Oils
Essential oils are highly volatile. However, their aromatherapy value will not be affected if they are stored properly. Some essential oils can have a shelf life of up to seven years, and others as little as 12 months.
To preserve the life of your pure essential oils, store them in amber bottles in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes. Always ensure the cap is tightly secured when not in use. For more detailed information on proper storage and handling of your aromatherapy oils, see the articles section of this website.
