Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil is a native Australian bush remedy with a clean, citrusy, citronella-like, rosy-camphorous aroma. This highly medicinal essential oil has been historically used as an air purifier to combat symptoms of fevers, colds and flu. It is strongly antiseptic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and clears the head. As with regular Eucalyptus essential oil, Lemon Eucalyptus is toxic if ingested and should only be used externally. It can help relieve headaches and is an effective insect repellant. A few drops of Lemon Eucalyptus added to a damp cleaning cloth will help kill germs while imparting a clean, fresh, citronella aroma throughout the home.
