Oregon lavender essential oil is a most popular, versatile and widely used essential oil. It is distilled mainly from the 'Buena Vista' variety of lavender, which yields a delightfully sweet, floral fragrance with very little camphor notes prevalent in many other lavenders.
Lavender essential oil is said to soothe inflammation, relieve symptoms of headache, tension and insomnia, neutralize insect bites and can be an effective pain reliever and healer for bites and minor burns.
