A tiny dot of Jasmine applied to the pulse points makes a very sensual attractant.

Jasmine, known in India as "Queen of the Night", is a perennial climbing shrub, with a perfume that is said to be its strongest at night. The heady fragrant flowers of Jasmine yield one of the world's most precious essential oils.

Research in 2010 has found that the aroma of jasmine essential oil helped soothe, relieve anxiety and promote rest, and acted as effectively as sedatives and sleeping pills.

Jasmine essential oil has a particular affinity with the female reproductive system.

Some have used Jasmine for lower back massage during the early stages of labor, to help alleviate pain and strengthen contractions.

Jasmine is said to be a powerful anti-depressant and one of the best choices to deeply relax, warm and open the emotions.

Jasmine helps restore confidence, promote optimism and inspire euphoria, and is is said to be a strong aphrodisiac.

Because of its powerful fragrance, the tiniest amount of this essential oil is all that is needed for any given application - a little goes a very long way!

Jasmine blends well with many other essential oils, especially the citruses, clary sage, rosewood, neroli and the other oils mentioned above.
