The Linden, or Lime Tree, is a large tree whose flowers are so fragrant that, when in bloom, Linden Trees have been known to perfume an entire neighbourhood.

The essential oil obtained from the Linden flower is regarded as a soothing relaxant while the leaf and flower extracts contain protective and anti-inflammatory compounds as well as quercetin, an excellent antioxidant.
