Cinnamon Bark is a pleasantly scented warming and uplifting essential oil. Its spicy scent is somewhat clove-like with sweet, slighly herbaceous and peppery tones. Cinnamon is psychologically fortifying and reviving and is said to restore a zest for life and inspire courage. Cinnamon can be irritating on the skin, however it is an excellent essential oil for use in a vaporizor or burner to discourage airborne infections such as colds and flu.
