The Alchemilla Biodynamic Herb Garden

Alchemilla began in the quaint town of San Anselmo, California, but we realized pretty quickly we would need a good size property and plenty of rain to grow the large variety of plants and flowers we need for our expansive product line.

In January 2008 Alchemilla moved to its lush, green Oregon property and is now in the process of converting this property into the Alchemilla Biodynamic Herb Garden.

With an on-site herb garden Alchemilla growers are able to more closely monitor the cultivation and harvesting techniques of our plant ingredients, while continuing to gain an even greater understanding of their inherent healing potential.

At Alchemilla we respect all life and are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment. With the Alchemilla Biodynamic Herb Garden, not only can we ensure absolute quality and vitality of our plant material (and ultimately the potency of our skin care products) we also minimize the carbon footprint that comes with high transportation and bulk ingredient packaging needs.
